Abstract
According to the experimental results of SHPB, a new Al (aluminum) alloy constitutive model based on radius regression is proposed. A new computer program is compiled to simulate the propagation of a thermal stress wave, which is generated by electron beam radiating, with the new constitutive model. By comparing the numerical results with the experimental data obtained in a REB device and the numerical results obtained with an ideal elastic-plastic model, the new Al alloy constitutive model has proved better to describe the propagation of thermal stress waves in an Al alloy generated by electron beam radiating.
