Abstract
The Grüneisen parameter and the sublimation energy are two key parameters in the numerical simulation to study the dynamic properties of materials, but it is difficulty to measure them directly in experimental way. In this paper, a new method is proposed to determine both the Grüneisen parameter and the sublimation energy by comparing the experimental data of blow-off impulse and stress induced by electron beam with the numerical simulation results by the computer program DRAM. Then with the new method, the sublimation energy of mixed polyester is derived as about 1.5 kJ/g, and the value of Grüneisen parameter at standard state is about 0.12.
